Folsom Party and Wedding Index

The goal of this website is to list local party and wedding related business' in a structured, easy-on-the-eye presentation of information. The site is meant to be an "index" or "directory" of party, wedding and event vendors. You won't find flashy graphics, pop-ups or fancy interactive media, but you will find the most local vendors and tons of links.

We've based the site on the structures and success of three very popular web destinations: Yahoo!, Google and Craigslist. We sort the listings in the same manner as the Yahoo! Yellow Pages:

Listing option.
Proximity to Folsom.
Alphabetical.

We mirror the simplicity and functionality of Google as well as use their Adwords campaigns to promote our paid listings.

And, we follow the lead of Craigslist in our push to keep things fair for the small business by offering free basic listings, free links with a link exchange (hey, it's only fair), and our extreme opposition to spam. We just plain will NEVER spam you or pass your info on to others.

We want our visitors to enter the site, quickly find what they're looking for and then, if so inclined, easily navigate the site without confusion.

We want our vendors to be able to add their listing quickly and not go broke doing so. We want to especially list the local small businesses that are next to impossible to find except through word of mouth. We know you're out there and your neighbors would really like to do business with you.
